New Student Orientation

Below are the results possible on the EAP math test:
■ Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level mathematics courses - Your test score met the ELM requirement.
■ Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level mathematics courses – Conditional - Your test score demonstrated readiness at this point in time on the EAP math test. However, you need to take a fourth year of math your Senior year in high school (Algebra II or higher) to continue to be ready.
■ Not yet demonstrating readiness for CSU or participating CCC college-level mathematics courses - Your score did not meet the ELM requirement.
■ Incomplete - Your test cannot be scored because you did not identify the test type (Algebra, Algebra II, Summative Math, etc.).
■ Not Applicable - Your status was unable to be assessed because you did not complete enough of the questions on both the CST and EAP. You must complete both the CST and the additional EAP questions in order to receive an EAP status.

 

Possible results on the EAP English Test are:
■ Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level English courses - Your Score met the EPT requirement.

■ Ready for CSU or participating CCC college-level English courses - Conditional
The student demonstrated readiness for CSU English at this point. He/she will need to take an approved English course in the 12th grade to be ready for the CSU.

■ Not yet demonstrating readiness for CSU or participating CCC college-level English courses - Your score did not meet the EPT requirement.
■ Incomplete - You did not correctly fill out all components of the EAP English test.
